SAM is a sanitation and maintenance auto-mechanical that can easily be found onboard the Unreliable in the supply closet. Harmful combat effects last for 25 percent less time. You need to find the missing components to get SAM up and running. This includes where to find them and what skills they assist you in when you have them by your side.
